Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the ICC World Cup final in Ahmedabad on November 19. The summit clash will feature home team India at the world’s biggest cricket stadium.
PM Modi is a massive cricket fan and was one of the first ones to wish Team India after they defeated New Zealand to reach the ODI World Cup final for the fourth time in history.
India beat New Zealand in the first semi-final by 70 runs to make it to the final. They scored 397/4 batting first on the back of centuries by Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer. For Kohli, it was his 50th ODI ton while for Iyer it was his fifth overall and second in the tournament.
