England bowler Stuart Broad was bludgeoned by first-time Indian test skipper Jasprit Bumrah on Day 3 of the final test here on Saturday. The Indian captain was unbeatable on 31 off 16 deliveries with 4 boundaries and 2 sixes in his bag. India is currently leading by 356 runs in the test match.
It all started with a mistimed intentional hook from Bumrah that went for a boundary. The bowler retaliated in frustration that went for five wides and the next few balls completed the story. The next three balls were hit for boundaries in different directions of the stadium. Jasprit Bumrah was in full attacking mode thereon and to add to his injuries he hit the final ball for a big six over deep mid-wicket.
