BCCI on Tuesday announced a change in schedule for Sri Lanka’s visit to India for the upcoming T20I and Test Series. As per the new schedule, the series would begin from February 24th and Tests would be held from 4th March.

The teams would first compete for the T20I series title comprising three matches following which they would play the two-match Test series, which will be a part of the ICC World Test Championship, 2021-23. The announcement came through a tweet by BCCI.  

The first T20I would be played in Lucknow while the next two would be hosted by Dharamshala. Out of the two Tests, the first will be held in Mohali from March 4th to 8th and the second Test will be played from March 12th to 16th in Bengaluru.

A day before, the Cricket Association Board requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to allow spectators at Eden Gardens for the last two T20Is of the three-match series against West Indies.

India and West Indies are scheduled to lock horns in the T20I series at the Eden Gardens Kolkata from February 16.
