‘And then we were three’: Virushka are expecting their first child in Jan 2021

Mumbai: Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma who are fondly called as “Virushka” by their fans, are soon going to become parents. The couple is expecting their first child in January 2021.

The pair, took to their social media handles to share the happy news to their followers. ‘And then we were three’, composed the couple in the caption. 

From Alia Bhatt to Taapsee Pannu, Bollywood superstars thronged the post with congratulatory notes. While Priyanka Chopra wrote ‘Congrats u guys’ on Anushka’s post, Alia posted heart emojis. ‘Congrats both of you’, composed Sania Mirza while Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan sent best wishes to the couple. 

This is the second baby announcement from Bollywood this month – Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan announced some weeks ago that they were expecting again; Kareena and Saif are parents to 3-year-old son Taimur.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli dated for several years before marrying in Italy in 2017. In 2014, Anushka said, weare not hiding anything. We are two normal young people in a relationship.” Three years later, they jetted off to Tuscany for a family-and-friends-only wedding, which they followed up with two wedding receptions back home – one in New Delhi and another in Mumbai.

Kohli is currently in UAE, where he has travelled out to take participate in IPL 2020. The well-known Indian captain is in quarantine, in front of the Indian Premier League. 

After her last delivery ‘Zero’ in 2018, Anushka had not announced any new venture. She did, be that as it may, proceed to create Amazon Prime web series ‘Pataal Lok’.
