Lucknow. Aligarh Muslim University’s minority status will remain intact. However, a three-member committee has been assigned to decide the minority status in this matter. A 7-member bench of the Supreme Court has given its verdict in this matter. Shia religious leader Yasub Abbas has expressed his happiness over the Supreme Court’s decision. Aligarh Muslim University has worked to spread fragrance in the country and the world.
On the Supreme Court’s decision regarding Aligarh Muslim University, Shia religious leader Maulana Yasoob Abbas, spokesperson and general secretary of the All India Shia Personal Law Board, while giving a statement said that this is a very good decision and I welcome this decision wholeheartedly, because Aligarh Muslim University has worked to spread the fragrance of education in the field of education in the country as well as in the entire world.

Maulana Yasoob Abbas, general secretary of the Shia Personal Law Board, said that “minority status has its own importance and strength, because there is no interference from anyone and there is no problem in taking any decision in the interest of the institution. As far as the three-judge bench is concerned, I hope that it will take a very good decision and will decide to maintain the minority status in Aligarh Muslim University.

Maulana Yasoob Abbas said that there is always controversy about AMU because it is providing good education. The whole country has got excellent and capable people from AMU who are making India proud in the whole world today, that is why some people look at AMU with suspicion and this decision has proved to be very bad news for those hateful people.
