Bhubaneshwar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Odisha again today to further intensify the election campaign of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state. PM Modi will reach Bhubaneswar at around 7 pm. In the evening, he can also hold a meeting with senior leaders on election-related and other issues at the state headquarters here.
On May 20, PM Modi will first visit Lord Jagannath and later hold a road show in Baddand (Grand Street) of Puri. PM Modi will later leave for Angul where he is scheduled to address a public meeting. After this he will address another election meeting in Cuttack before returning to Bhubaneswar, Odisha unit BJP president Manmohan Samal said on Friday. Meanwhile, SPG officials discussed security arrangements with the Commissionerate Police and other policemen. This is PM Modi’s third visit to Odisha for election campaign in the last 15 days.
He has so far addressed five big public rallies in different constituencies and also held a massive road show in Bhubaneswar city. Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be held simultaneously in Odisha in four phases from May 13 to June 1. The results of voting for both Lok Sabha and Assembly will come on June 4.
