The Lok Sabha election 2024 is about to end with the last phase, with voting left for only 57 of the 543 seats. The first phase started on April 19, the second phase on April 26, the third on May 7, the fourth on May 13, the fifth on May 20, and the sixth on May 26 have already been completed, and the seventh phase will be held on June 1. The result for Surat has already been announced, as BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal won unopposed, and the rest of the results for 542 seats will be announced at the beginning of next month.
Voting for 102 seats was held in phase 1, 88 seats in phase 2, 93 seats in phase 3, 96 seats in phase 4, 49 seats in phase 5, 58 seats in phase 6, and 57 seats for phase 7 (to be held on June 1). Several predictions have already been made by Congress and the BJP. Rahul Gandhi claimed that the BJP-led NDA may not win even 150 seats, whereas BJP leader Amit Shah said that Congress will win only 40 seats. Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress leader, foretold less than 200 seats for the BJP. Once the Lok Sabha election results are announced next month, these predictions will be put to the test.
Lok Sabha Elections 2024 counting will take place on June 4 at 8 a.m., with the majority trend to be out by 2 p.m. Concluding trends along with final results will be available by 7 p.m. on June 4. Seat-wise results will be announced as soon as counting is completed for each seat throughout the day by the Election Commission of India. Four states—Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Sikkim—also went to the assembly polls apart from the Lok Sabha polls.
