MNS Candidate List: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) released its third list of 13 candidates ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly polls.
Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has released the third list of candidates for the Maharashtra assembly election. The party released the third list late on Wednesday (October 23), which contains 13 names.
In the third list, the party has made Pappu alias Mangesh Patil from Amravati, Dinkar Dharmaji Patil from Nashik West, Narsingh Bhikane from Ahmedpur-Chakur, Abhijit Deshmukh from Parli, Sachin Ramu Shingda from Vikramgad, Vanita Shashikant Kathure from Bhiwandi Rural, Naresh Korda from Palghar as its candidates.

Earlier, the MNS candidate list had 45 names. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had released a list of its 45 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Out of these, 16 seats are in Mumbai. In this list, the party had made Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray a candidate from Mahim Assembly seat.

Thackeray declared the names of the contestants at a function where he inaugurated the MNS election campaign office on the Kalyan Shilphata Road in Thane district. The MNS had declared to go solo at the hustings without joining ruling or opposition alliances.
“I will oversee the filing of nomination papers for Jadhav and Patil on October 24,” the MNS chief said. MNS had won one seat each in the 2014 and 2019 elections.
Election Commission has announced the schedule for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. The assembly elections in the state will be held in a single phase on November 20 for all 288 seats. The results will be declared on November 23. The term of the current assembly is ending on November 26.
