As voting for the Bihar Assembly polls concluded on Tuesday (November 11, 2025), exit polls have predicted a big victory for the NDA with the Mahagatbandhan coming in a distant second.

The exit polls conducted by various organisations on Tuesday predicted a return of the NDA government in the State, a poor show for the opposition ‘Mahagathbandhan’, and a disappointing performance for former poll strategist Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj. Exit poll figures may differ from the actual results, which will be announced on November 14 when counting begins at 8 am under heavy security across all 38 districts. The second and final phase of polling concluded with a 68.67 per cent voter turnout.

After the second phase of voting, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi posted on X and wrote – There are six bullets in a sixer… and our six candidates are like those cartridges of the sixer, who will not allow the return of jungle raj in Bihar at any cost.

The first shot is against jungle raj… the second shot is against fear and prejudice… the third shot is against corruption… the fourth shot is against Dalit oppressors… the fifth shot is against crime… the sixth shot is against hatred and darkness… The NDA is determined to develop Bihar. Thank you, Bihar… thank you, the voters of Bihar.

Meanwhile, Pappu Yadav, an independent MP from Purnia, claimed victory for the Grand Alliance. He said, “When were the exit polls ever accurate? You’re saying the vote count increased, but where did it increase? I believe the people of Bihar voted for the Grand Alliance. A Grand Alliance government is coming to power in Bihar. All exit polls are going to fail. The public is in the mood for change. This voting is also showing this.”
