6 Accused Detained For Abusing Minors After Video Went Viral

Siddharthnagar: A horrific video of two minors in Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh has gone viral wherein two boys were forced to drink urine on suspicion of theft. The boys aged 15 and 10, were then injected with some unidentifiable drug and green chillies were inserted in their anus.

Uttar Pradesh police has now identified the accused as local goons who forcibly made the children consume urine after inserting green chilies into private parts of the minors. The Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Siddharthnagar confirmed that appropriate charges have been filed based on the registered complaint and investigations are underway. The police have identified the six accused and detained them.

“A viral video on social media has come to notice in Thana Pathra Bazaar regarding objectionable acts with two minors. After taking note of the viral video, cases have been registered under relevant sections. Six people have been nabbed in connection with the incident. They will be presented in court”, said ASP of Siddharthnagar.

The incident came to light on Saturday when it got circulated in WhatsApp groups run by college students. A police constable who was also a member of the group informed immediately his seniors and a team led by the cyber unit got into the case.
