Prayagraj. Tight security arrangements have been made in view of Maghi Purnima bath in Maha Kumbh. On one hand, CM Yogi Adityanath himself is monitoring the Amrit bath. On the other hand, DMs of 15 districts have been deployed in the fair area. Also, 20 IAS and 85 PCS officers have been given the responsibility of maintaining proper security arrangements. More than 2.5 crore devotees are expected to take bath today.
On the occasion of Maghi Purnima, the fifth Amrit Snan of Maha Kumbh is going on. Since Brahma Muhurta, devotees from every corner of the country and the world are continuously taking a dip in the Triveni of Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati. Since morning, more than 65 lakh devotees have taken a holy dip. On the instructions of CM Yogi, flower shower was done on the devotees from a helicopter on the occasion of Maghi Purnima in Maha Kumbh Nagar. The devotees bathing in Sangam were bathed with flowers, which created a wave of enthusiasm and faith among the devotees.
Fair officer Vivek Chaturvedi said that today is the bath of ‘Maghi Purnima’. This time there is an unexpected crowd in the fair. The bathing process is going on. A large number of devotees are coming here. All the preparations have been done, this bath will continue for the whole day tomorrow. Special care is being taken of the devotees. All kinds of arrangements have been made to ensure that they do not face any kind of inconvenience. Now the last bathing festival will be on Mahashivratri on 26 February. In view of the royal bath, the traffic plan of the roads going to Prayagraj has been changed. Entry of vehicles in the city is closed.

On the occasion of Basanti Panchami, more than 1.5 crore people took a royal bath in Triveni Sangam and received the blessings of Maa Ganga. More than 10 lakh devotees are performing Kalpavas in Maha Kumbh.
