Prayagraj: The grand festival of Maha Kumbh has started in Sangam city from January 13. Where millions of devotees from India and abroad are taking a holy dip along with saints, storytellers, film stars and leaders. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is all set to visit Mahakummbh today, he informed on social media platform X.’
Mauni Amavasya: CM Yogi Adityanath’s Visit Cancelled
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Prayagraj has been cancelled. Yogi was to review the preparations being made in the Sangam area on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya today. During this, CM Yogi was to meet the saints and sages and listen to their needs and suggestions, but suddenly his tour program was cancelled. The reasons for the cancellation of the tour have not been known yet. Even before Yogi’s arrival, the officers had reviewed the preparations for Mauni Amavasya so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
CM Yogi had given strict instructions to the officials regarding Mauni Amavasya. In which he had said that 8 to 10 crore people are expected to come on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya on January 29. In such a situation, there is a need to improve the arrangements in the fair area before their arrival. CM Yogi said that the fair officials should talk to the railways and run special trains for the people coming to Maha Kumbh. In view of the number of devotees, he had talked about increasing the number of trains.
Head Od Sachcho Satram Dham, Pakistan To Reach Mahakumbh
Sai Sadharam Maharaj, the head of Sachcho Satram Dham, the main religious place of Sindhi community located in Sindh province of Pakistan, and more than 50 of his followers will come to India to participate in Prayagraj Mahakumbh. All of them will take a bath in the Ganga in Mahakumbh and have applied for visa for this. Sai Sadharam Maharaj, who is the head of Sachcho Satram Dham located in Raharki, the birthplace of Jhulelal, the revered deity of Sindhi community, will attend the Mahakumbh with his disciples and followers in February.
