Shivpuri: Madhya Pradesh’s Sports Minister, Yashodhara Raje Scindia, has announced her decision not to contest the upcoming legislative assembly elections.. She recalled her mother’s inspiring legacy of public service, spanning 25 to 30 years, while emotionally paying tribute to her. She mentioned that her mother had served diligently while dealing with health challenges.
The Sports Minister cited health reasons as the primary factor influencing her decision not to participate in the elections. Further, she emphasized that her mother, Amma Maharaj, had shown her a path, and now she must carry that legacy forward. She revealed that her mother had faced health issues due to COVID-19 on multiple occasions, further affecting her decision-making process.
