Gwalior: The special CBI court of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh has sentenced three accused in the Vyapam case. Munnabhai, Dalal and Solver have been sentenced to jail in the constable recruitment case.

The court has sentenced 4-4 years of rigorous imprisonment to the candidate Satendra Singh Yadav and copyist Jitendra Kumar in the case of Police Constable Recruitment-2013 examination. A fine of Rs 14,100 has also been imposed on the accused.

According to a senior CBI official, the agency had registered the instant case on August 18, 2015 in compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court.

“The CBI had taken over the investigation of the case initially registered at the Police Station, Kampoo, Gwalior on February 11, 2014 against Madhuraj Singh on the allegations of impersonation in MP Police Constable Recruitment Test 2013 (2nd) conducted by Vyapam, Bhopal on September 15, 2013,” said the official.

In the case, Munna Bhai Dadhibal Singh, resident of Morena, has been sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. The court has sentenced Firozabad resident broker Vijay Tamre and Firozabad resident solver Sunil Kumar to 4 years each. The accused solver had given the Dadhibal exam at Morena centre.

CBI had registered an FIR against both the accused in this case at Kampu police station on 18 August 2015. During investigation, CBI found that Madhuraj Singh (beneficiary candidate) had not appeared in the written examination of PCRT-2013 (Second).
