Bhind: Repoll has started in polling number 71- Kishupura number-3 of the assembly constituency of Bhind district. Voting will take place from 7 am to 6 pm today. Amit ink will be applied on the middle finger of the left hand of voters re-polling. After complaints of voting irregularities, the Election Commission had decided to re-poll.
Strict security arrangements have been made at the polling station. Police have been deployed at every nook and corner. Unauthorized entry was prohibited around the polling station. In Kishupura village, 632 male and 592 female voters will vote again today at polling number 71.
Minister Arvind Bhadauria had complained about booth capturing in the Election Commission. A video and the application were also submitted to the Election Commission. After this, the Election Commission of India has ordered re-polling on November 21 at Kishupura booth assembly constituency in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind district, according to an official release.
In lieu of this, four members of the polling team have been suspended for the breach of secrecy, district collector and returning officer, Sanjeev Shrivastava confirmed.
