Vidisha: A surprising case has come to light from the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh. Where the health of the patients is being played within the community health center. Expiry-date medicines are being given to the patients coming to the hospital for treatment. The responsible officers were seen shrugging off the matter.
According to the information received, the matter pertains to the Community Health Center of Gyaraspur in the district. Where in the name of giving medicines, the lives of patients are being played with. Expiry date medicines are being distributed to the patients in the hospital.
In fact, on Friday, January 5, 2024, patient Babu Singh Rajput had reached the Community Health Center of Gyaraspur to show his chest pain. Where the attending doctor, while treating him, advised him to take medicine and prescribed medicine on the prescription. After which he took those medicines from the hospital and returned home. He took one dose of medicine at night, but there was no relief from the pain. When he took the second dose in the morning, his eyes fell on the expiry date written on the medicine leaf and he was shocked.
Manufacturing date August 2022 and expiry October 2023 was written on the medicine leaf, whose batch number is TC 2160096. When this matter was brought to the notice of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Yogesh Tiwari, he was seen giving vague answers and avoiding the question of expiry date of medicines. Now the question arises that when the government hospitals are playing with the lives of the patients, then what will be the condition of the private hospitals?
