Bhopal: After the Election Commission announced the dates for the Assembly elections in five states, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar expressed his confidence on Monday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would emerge victorious in Madhya Pradesh and form the government again. He also anticipated a setback for the Congress party in the state.
Tomar dismissed reports of any discord within the party. Reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to BJP’s principles. When questioned about his aspirations to become Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Tomar emphasized his loyalty as a BJP worker.
Furthermore, Tomar assured that there is no rivalry for the Chief Minister position in Madhya Pradesh. He criticized Congress leaders for making promises during election campaigns and attempting to divide the nation with their caste census slogan, which he believed undermined trust in their party.
Regarding Congres’s criticism of BJP’s strategy to field Union Ministers and MPs in Assembly elections, Tomar suggested that such critique stemmed from Congress’s own apprehensions. With confidence, he predicted a BJP victory not in Madhya Pradesh but in other states highlighting their readiness for elections across different regions.
Tomar stated that the BJP has made preparations across levels ranging from grassroots volunteers to senior party leaders in order to achieve success in the upcoming elections. He expressed confidence that the BJP will garner support and emerge victorious in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Mizoram.
