Madhya Pradesh: The ministry of civil aviation on the ocassion of International Yoga Day has decided to organize a massive Yoga demonstration of more than 2,000 people at Gwalior Fort. The event will be inaugurated and led by Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia.

This year International Day of Yoga is falling in the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” year for which the Ministry of Ayush has planned to observe the International Day of Yoga at 75 iconic locations across India which will also help in branding India on a global scale.

The theme “Yoga for Humanity”- depicts how it helped individuals during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic by alleviating the suffering and in the emerging post-COVID geo-political scenario. This traditional excercise brought people together through compassion, kindness, foster a sense of unity and build resilience among people world over.

On the same note, the SS Chauhan govt has decided to organize event across 75 historical locations in the state.

Taking stock of the preparations on 17th June, Chouhan, who will attend a yoga event at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on June 21, said: “All the state ministers should participate in the programmes, as well as youth and social organisations.”
