Bhopal: This year’s Madhya Pradesh assembly elections are a starry affair as 550 stars are in the electoral fray in the state. These are those charismatic faces around whom the electoral equations seem to be centered and these charming faces are sweating profusely to change the equation of victory and defeat. There are many leaders among them and there are also many actors, including film stars like Jaya Bachchan, Raj Babbar, Manoj Tiwari, Smriti Irani have either visited Madhya Pradesh or are going to visit it. To woo the voters in their favor, political parties have fielded these stars as star campaigners. A total of 550 star campaigners from 17 political parties are contesting in the constituency.
BJP and Congress have 40-40 star campaigners in the fray, Aam Aadmi Party has fielded 35 while Samajwadi Party and SAPAKS Party have fielded 20-20 star campaigners in the elections. Jan Adhikar Party, Pragatisheel Samaj Party, Bharatiya Vanchit Samaj Party, Bharatiya Manav Samaj Party and Janseva Party have fielded 15 star campaigners each in the election campaign. Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha has 13 star campaigners and National Youth Party and Bahujan Mukti Party have 12 star campaigners each. 11 star campaigners of All India Gondwana Party are in the fray.
