Bhopal: In a strategic move aimed at reclaiming lost assembly seats, the Congress party in Madhya Pradesh is intensively focusing on micro-management at the grassroots level. This meticulous approach involves the creation of “red zones” – areas where the party has been consistently facing electoral setbacks. The primary objective is to convert these red zones into “green zones” during the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections in 2023.
To accomplish this transformation, the Congress is employing a comprehensive, man-to-man marking strategy. Party workers are committed to maintaining constant communication with each voter in these red zone booths right up to polling day. Their mission extends beyond communication, as they will also work diligently to maximize voter turnout in these challenging areas, even going the extra mile by providing transportation for voters to the polling stations.
This methodical approach assigns specific responsibilities to party workers at each polling station, where they are tasked with reaching out to and engaging with 50 voters each. To ensure the seamless execution of this plan, mandalam and sector officials are closely monitoring the efforts.
Conversely, the BJP has its own ambitious goal, aiming for a 51% vote share at the booth level. With both major political parties intensifying their efforts and adopting distinct strategies, the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections promise to be highly competitive.
The Congress’s commitment to micro-management at the booth level underscores its determination to regain lost ground and secure a strong electoral presence in Madhya Pradesh. The outcome of this concerted effort will undoubtedly be a significant point of interest in the 2023 elections.
