Bhopal: A shocking road accident occurred on Wednesday night in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. The bus going from Guna to Aaron met with an accident, burning 13 people alive. After the incident, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has given instructions for investigation and today he will go to Guna and meet the families of the dead and injured. After postponing all today’s programs, CM Mohan left for Guna from Bhopal at 9.30 AM.
Sources reveal that there were about 30 to 40 passengers in the bus. 10 passengers died in this tragic accident. The head of the state has ordered an investigation into the bus accident. It has also been announced to assist Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased. The Chief Minister has said that an investigation should be done on all points. Instructions have been given to transport officials in this regard. The government has also given instructions to assist Rs 50,000 each to the injured.
SP Vijay Kumar said that 12 passengers have died. More than a dozen people were injured. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The fire brigade team has brought the fire in the bus under control.
Meanwhile, former CM Digvijay Singh has demanded strict action against the culprits. Digvijay wrote on X that “News of a tragic incident in the bus going from Guna to Aaron has been received. So far, more than 13 people have been killed and 15 badly burnt. Such information has been received that the bus was running without a permit and without fitness. There should be a high level investigation into this incident and strict action should be taken against the culprits”.
