Bhopal: On Monday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its second roster of candidates for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections. Notably, Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Prahlad Singh Patel will be leading the charge for the party from the Dimani and Narsingpur constituencies, respectively.

Additionally, Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste has been nominated as the party’s candidate for the Niwas constituency. Among the prominent candidates in the BJP’s list of 39 contenders is the national general secretary, Kailash Vijayvargiya, who will be vying for the Indore-1 seat. The party has also selected Members of Parliament Ganesh Singh for the Satna constituency, Riti Pathak for Sidhi, and Uday Pratap Singh for Gadarwara.

The second candidate list released by the BJP includes a diverse representation, with six women candidates, ten from Scheduled Tribes, and four from the Scheduled Castes category.

This announcement follows the party’s initial candidate list, which was unveiled in August. As the election landscape in Madhya Pradesh takes shape, on-ground reports and surveys suggest that the contest between the ruling BJP and the Congress will be fiercely competitive. The upcoming Assembly Elections in Madhya Pradesh are anticipated to be closely watched, as they will play a crucial role in determining the political landscape in the state.
