Bhojshala: On the 39th day of the ongoing ASI survey in Dhar’s Bhojshala, the ASI team along with the workers reached Bhojshala for the survey. Today the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has to submit its report in the High Court. At the same time, ASI has asked for an extension of time for the survey by 8 more weeks, hearing on this will be held today.
The survey is going on continuously in the Dargah premises in Bhojshala. Till now, both parties have claimed in different ways to have found layers of three walls, Sanatani remains, Gaumukh, sculptures, Kho, many inscriptions. The inscriptions found in the Dargah premises have been cleaned with chemicals.
Muslim party Abdul Samad claims that the work of the chemical team in the Dargah complex has been completed. Gopal Sharma said that the team is carrying out excavation work in the north-south direction in front of the sanctum sanctorum. Chemical treatment and paper stamping also went on for a whole day in the Kamal Maulana Dargah complex.
Earlier on Sunday, ASI worked all day on removing soil near the walls, measuring its depth and where the wall is going. Excavation work continued on three sides of the monument. The survey will continue even today.
Tight three-tier security arrangements have been made around the banquet hall. Security forces have also been deployed in the city. Today, the report of the survey conducted by the ASI team in these 38 days will be presented in the High Court and the time period will be taken by telling the court how much work is left and why 8 weeks more time is needed. GPR machine and many modern machines are to be installed in Bhojshala, due to which the speed of survey will increase further in the coming days. This will help in clearing the title of Bhojshala.
