Bhopal- A fraud involving a third-party app has emerged in the Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh, where GSA Global Sea Foods Alien Company has deceived numerous young individuals under the guise of shrimp farming investments. Initially, those who had invested received profits, but after a few days, they stopped receiving any returns. Consequently, affected individuals have complained to the Superintendent of Police (SP).
The incident occurred in Barghat, a town within the district, where the GSA Global Sea Food Alien Company used a third-party app to swindle money from several young people by promising lucrative returns through shrimp farming investments. The company enticed the youth by sending a link to the app via WhatsApp, claiming that their money would double within 60 days. Falling for the scheme, numerous young individuals from the Barghat area invested significant money through the app.
The victims now find themselves defrauded as the promised returns failed to materialise. This fraudulent activity has caused significant financial losses and distress among the affected individuals. Authorities have been alerted to the situation, with complaints lodged against the GSA Global Sea Foods Alien Company.
The case highlights the importance of caution when dealing with unfamiliar third-party apps or investment opportunities. It serves as a reminder to the public to thoroughly research and verify the legitimacy of such schemes before investing their hard-earned money.
