Bhopal: The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology authorities spotted a tiger on the campus. As per reports, the big cat has already attacked a cow.
All students, professors and locals in the area have been directed to stay alert. A circular regarding the same is issued by the college administration that read- ‘It has been reported that a wild animal has been spotted in MANIT Bhopal campus on the evening of 03.10.2022. MANIT Bhopal Administration is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of all on the campus and is in touch with the District Administration for the needful. However, all the employees, as well as students, are advised to be on the vigil and avoid roaming in the area behind the sports complex as well as areas with dense plantations.
It further requested all staff and students to co-operate with the security staff and forest officers deployed in the search.
This is the second time a week, that an incident related to a tiger has occurred. Earlier near Pench National Park in the Chindwada district a carcass of a tiger with missing paws sounded an alert on the risk of tiger conservation.
