Indore: In order to maintain law and order in the city, the Commissioner of Police Shri Harinarayanchari Mishra has issued prohibitory orders under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
The orders with effect immediately will be valid through September 15, sources in the know said.
According to the order under this section, there shall be no public meetings or rallies during the period of operation of this order without prior permission. Any individual who will be involved in or hold political gatherings will be eligible for charges of violation.
