Satna: Satna police in Madhya Pradesh has seized a huge quantity of intoxicating syrup and arrested an accused. The seized goods are said to be worth lakhs of rupees. Meanwhile, the Excise Department in Alirajpur district has taken action and seized a truck full of liquor. At present, the police is taking legal action in both these cases.

Actually, the police had received information from an informer that Onrex (cough syrup) was being smuggled in a pickup without a number plate. On which the police took action and stopped a pickup by blocking the road in village Mahatain. As soon as the vehicle stopped, two people took advantage of the darkness and ran away. While the police caught the driver.
During interrogation, he told his name as Diwakar Kumar Patel. When the police searched the vehicle, they found the syrup under the crate. After which the police arrested the driver and seized the pickup and took it to the police station. According to the police, the value of the seized 7200 bottles is estimated to be around 12 lakh 24 thousand rupees. At present, the police have registered a case against the arrested driver and are interrogating him.
