Bhopal: A year ahead of the assembly polls, Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra is strengthening its position in Madhya Pradesh. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi once again woved youth by riding a motorbike during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Madhya Pradesh’s Mhow today. Security personnel and party workers were seen clearing way for the Gandhi scion while cheering for him.
After a night halt at Mhow, the birthplace of Dr. B R Ambedkar, the yatra participants resumed the march today morning and has now reached Indore. Bharat Jodo’s official twitter account posted a tweet to update its proceedings.
Malwa-Nimar region remains a politically crucial region of the state and played a crucial role in 2018. The Yatra’s focus in this region during the Yatra will help Congress revive its organization at grassroots level and allow it to reap electoral benefits.
Earlier on Saturday, Rahul Gandhi resumed the Yatra from Mortakka village. The Congress leader was flanked by the party’s general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with her husband Robert Vadra for the first time on Thursday.
