Bhopal: Today is the second day of the winter session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly. The proceedings of the House have started. Tributes were paid to the deceased even today. Yesterday, 207 out of 230 MLAs took oath. Protem Speaker Gopal Bhargava is administering the oath to the remaining MLAs.
Regarding the proceedings of the House, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today is the oath day in the Assembly. Those who were left yesterday will be remembered. We will remember the deceased. Today will end with the oath taking of our remaining comrades. There will be works of public interest.
The Assembly Speaker will be elected on 20th December. The Governor’s address will also be held on 20th December itself. On December 21, there will be discussion on government work and the motion of gratitude on the Governor’s address.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Raigarh OP Chaudhary took oath in Chhattisgarhi. Congress MLA from Kharsia Umesh Patel took oath in Chhattisgarhi. BJP MLA from Lailunga Vidyavati Sidar took oath in Sanskrit.
Congress MLA from Rampur Phool Singh Rathiya and BJP MLA from Korba Lakhanlal Dewangan took the Chhattisgarhi oath. BJP MLA from Katghora Premchand Patel took oath in Sanskrit. Gongpa MLA from Pali-Tanakhar Tuleshwar Markam took oath in Chhattisgarhi. BJP MLA from Marwahi Pranab Marpacchi took oath. Congress MLA from Kota Atal Srivastava took oath. BJP MLA from Mungeli Punnulal Mohile took oath.
