BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah landed himself in controversy after he lashed out a common man who he claims was sent by opposition; as he asked a question during his address at the Vikas rally in Harshad constituency Khandwa district Bhopal on Monday
In the video, he is seen getting visibly angry and alleged that the man was sent by “some people” to create a ruckus. He also said local Congress leaders had made some people consume liquor to create a fuss during the Vikas Yatras.
“We are ushering in an era of development in Madhya Pradesh but will lock anyone trying to create a scene here. This is a government gathering. Whoever disrupts it will get their hips broken by the police,” the MP minister can be heard saying in the viral video. This statement by the minister landed him into controversy.
The forest minister is seen lambasting at the man who claimed that his wife, who worked at an Anganwadi centre, had not received her salary for the past six months.
He subsequently instructed the police to arrest those who were selling alcohol in the area.
