MADHYA PRADESH: As per latest reports temperatures in the Bhopal continues to remain above the normal mark. The temperature in the state inched close to 45 degrees mark, while in Bhopal it was close to 40 degrees according to experts.

According to IMD, parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar may experience heatwave conditions over the next three to four days.

As per officials from Met Dept, from April 15, a fresh disturbance would hit the country. Weather in Madhya Pradesh would remain dry for the next few days, which means the temperature will go up from the existing levels.

Heatwave conditions are likely in isolated pockets of Gangetic West Bengal until Monday (April 17), north coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha until Saturday (April 15) and Bihar from April 15 to April 17.

Day temperature in Bhopal on Wednesday was recorded at 38.8 degrees Celsius, a degree less than normal mark, while night temperature in the city was 22.2 degrees Celsius.

March 2022 was the warmest ever for India and the third driest in 121 years. The year also saw the country’s third-warmest April since 1901.
