Indore, Madhya Pradesh: The fate of lakhs of Public Service Commission aspirants was in doubt after there were rumors about changes in the Rajya Seva 2020 result and Rajya Seva Exam 2019 main exam. But now, the PSC authorities have cleared the air regarding the same.

For two days, rumors and doubts were going on regarding Rajya Seva 2020 result and Rajya Seva Exam 2019 main exam. The discussion among the candidates was in full swing that the process of both examinations may get stuck due to the matter reaching the court. The PSC has clarified that the process is on and there is no obstruction of any kind.

In the last few months, the General Administration Department has implemented the formula of 87:13:13 in the PSC results. Due to the pending dispute on OBC reservation, the main selection list for 87 percent of posts and provisional selection list for 13-13 percent of OBC and unreserved posts are being issued. The PSC is busy brainstorming on how to implement this formula in 2020. Actually, the result of the preliminary examination of 2020 has already been released before the introduction of this formula.

In such a situation, the PSC is busy deciding only that if this formula is implemented in the main examination, then the result of pre must not be affected. However, it is being argued that the preliminary examination is anyway qualifying and in which more than 15 times the number of examinees are selected, the interests of any student will not be affected by this. The discussion is still in the final stages.

The result of Rajya Seva 2020 is expected to be released by next week. On the other hand, on the main examination of the State Service 2019, the commission has made it clear that the process will be according to the announced schedule. The commission is busy in preparations for conducting the main examination in January. Soon the link will also be opened for the submission of applications for the main examination.
