Bhopal: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided 10 places today morning beginning 4AM. More than 10 people have been detained as NIA officials are questioning all of them.
Sources reveal that NIA received information about hiding of suspects in Bhopal related to an old case registered in Delhi. The input was received during the interrogation of another accused in the case who hails from Chhattisgarh.
The NIA team has also detained a woman Samina and her brother-in-law Shoaib during the raid in Jahangirabad, Bhopal. It has been told that NIA was looking for Samina. In Bhopal Hizb ut Tahrir (HUT) case also, NIA arrested 17th accused Salman from Hyderabad, Telangana on August 1. Salman was leading the HUT in Hyderabad in association with Salim who was working for the expansion of HUT in Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier in May this year, the investigating agency arrested 16 accused in raids in Bhopal and Hyderabad.
