Chennai: The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday congratulated the Youth National Boxing Championship winners from the state. Aman Singh Bisht bagged the Gold Medal in the tournament which made him the National Boxing Champion for the second time. Earlier, Aman also won the Asian Youth Championship in the 92 kg weight category.
The CM extended his heartfelt wishes to the medal winners hailing from Madhya Pradesh Academy. While Anand Yadav and Aadarsh Katare won silver medals, Yogeshwar Dutt, Ayush Yadav, and Khushi Singh clinched bronze medals in their final boxing matches.
CM Shivraj took to his Twitter handle to congratulate the winners and wished for their never-ending winning streak.
In a separate tweet from the CMO, the coach of winning players, Roshan Lal was hailed and congratulated.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra boxing players were also applauded for their outstanding performance in the tournament. Seven Boxers from the financial capital reached the finals of the youth boxing tournament which included current junior national champion Devika Ghorpade. Devika took on Haryana’s boxer Anjali in the finals.
