BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh’s first and country’s 11th Vande Bharat Express would operate between Bhopal’ Rani Kamlapati station and New Delhi. As per sources, the train will be flagged off by PM Modi on April 1st, preparations for which are underway.
Sources in the know revealed that the fare of the train could be 10per cent more than that of Shatabdi Express. However, a formal announcement is yet to be made. According to the details by the Railway officials- RKMP-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train will operate six days a week. There shall be no services on Saturday for the maintainence work.
According to sources of from the West Central Railways, the travel time to Delhi would be cut down by one and a half hour than that of Shatabdi. Vande Bharat will complete one way journey of 708 kms in 7 hours and 45 minutes, officials associated with the oprations said.
