Indore: The Madhya Pradesh govt on Monday revised the Dearness Allowance. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced a hike in the DA for seven lakh employees of the state government with effect from August 1st which means the benefits would be issued in September.

With a revision of 3 per cent, the Dearness Allowance rose to 34 per cent from 31 per cent. We’ve decided to increase the DA of govt employees to 34 per cent whose payment will begin from August itself, CM Shivraj said. He highlighted that the state administration believed in giving rights to the state employees similar to the central govt and so this decision was taken.

CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan will accompany Union Transport minister Nitin Gadkari who is in Indore to attend 5 programs. He attended a foundation stone laying ceremony of the National Highway projects held at Brilliant Convention Center at 12 noon.

Gadkari will attend programmes organised by NGO Jan Aakrosh organised at Ravindra Natyagriha at 3 pm. At 4 pm he will visit Nana Maharaj Tarnekar Sansthan at Snehlataganj behind Ganesh Mandal. Later, he will attend a function organised by Nana Maharaj Tarnekar at the Basketball Complex at 5 pm and leave for Delhi at 7 pm.
