Madhya pradesh: As per the guidelines issued by centre, vaccination for children will begin from 3rd January 2022. Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin would be administered on children below 15 years as per the notice issued by authorities.
In the state of Madhya Pradesh, health authorities have identified nearly 84,000 adolscent girls who will be administered their first dose on 3,4, and 5 January as per the available slots. Nearly 65,000 students across 332 schools in the district of Mandasur have been slated to be jabbed under the childrens vaccination drive.Children who do not belong to any educational organization are also elgible for the vaccine as the govt has permitted to get themselves jabbed at the nearest school.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. KL Rathore has selected 36 schools in Mandsaur district where the vaccination would commence from January 3.5785 children in Malhargarh district, 6 392 students in 20 schools in Sitamau district, In Garoth district, 7 thousand 196 students of 21 schools and 4 thousand 846 students of 11 schools in Bhanpura district will be vaccinated.
