Madhya Pradesh: MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s “suspend on the spot” campaign continues. In Niwari, he announced the removal of the Collector and Tehsildar of Orchha. Actually, CM Shivraj Singh visited Niwari on Wednesday to attend the Garhkundar Festival. From the stage itself, he gave instructions to remove Niwari District Collector Tarun Bhatnagar and Orchha Tehsildar Sandeep Sharma.
He also praised the Dindori collector for his work. “Vikas Mishra is the collector of Dindori. He works hard day and night. But the collector of Niwari district has not met the expectations. Many types of complaints have been received. I remove the collector with immediate effect”, the CM said.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan further said, “Niwari district is dear to me. I have received serious complaints from the people here. I do not insult anyone, I welcome the government employees who do good work. Complaints have been received about land irregularities. A complaint was received against the officers for manipulation in the purchase and sale of government land. That’s why action has been taken for negligence at work.” During this, instructions were also given to investigate the matter related to the land.
The Dindori collector Vikas Mishra, who was praised by CM Shivraj from the stage, is in constant discussions because of his working style. On November 9, he took over as Collector in Dindori. Since then, he is continuously communicating with people. On the other hand accusations against the Niwari collector is rife. Hopefully, more such strict actions will be taken in the state to control corruption.
