BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh budget for the financial year 2023-24 will be presented on March 1st. The Finance Dept informed that the secretariat will present the state’s economic survey on Feb 28th.
The budget by SS Chauhan will focus on promoting self-employment, increasing financial provisions for SC-ST and other proposed classes, and allocating the budget to the Food and Civil Supplies Department. This time a budget for the child welfare and agriculture department.
As per an insider, the budget for FY 23-23 could be up to Rs 3.25 lakh crore. The budget session will conclude on March 27 with the governor’s address.
It is worth noting that MP will undergo assembly elections. This will be the last budget of the SS Chauhan govt.
