Bhopal: A mining conclave will be held in the capital Bhopal on 17-18 October. Regarding which CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is organizing a mining conclave in Bhopal, making significant progress towards realizing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious Developed India-2047. This important event will showcase the vast possibilities of mining, oil, gas and mineral based industries in the state. Which act as the backbone of development.
The Chief Minister has said that Madhya Pradesh is a state rich in mineral resources and plays an important role in the mining sector of the country. It is the only state in the country which produces diamonds, as well as leading in the production of manganese and copper ore. Which is important for various industrial uses. Apart from this, the state ranks second in rock-phosphate production, third in limestone production required for the cement industry and fourth in coal production. The state is also second in the production of coal-gas. Which shows its commitment towards alternative energy sources and sustainability.
The CM said that through this conclave, the Madhya Pradesh government is taking initiatives to make the state a major hub of mining and mineral-based industries. This will increase economic prosperity and employment opportunities in the state. All stakeholders, industrialists and experts from the mining sector have been invited to attend this important event.
