Madhya Pradesh: The SS Chauhan govt has announced to have successfully translated three subjects of the first year of MBBS namely Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. It should be noted that the Madhya Pradesh state education department had announced to conduct MBBS classes in Hindi medium from the upcoming academic session at the Gandhi Medical college, Bhopal .

A team of 58 experts was constituted for translation which accomplished the task in 98 days.

CM Chauhan in March had announced to hold MBBS courses in Hindi. “This year, Madhya Pradesh will become the first state to start the MBBS course in Hindi. Why should we continue to be English slaves when other countries offer professional education in their native languages?” Chouhan had said in a media pressing.

Madhya Pradesh is the first state that announced to conduct MBBS courses in Hindi.

Last month, Uttarakhand Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat announced the state’s similar plan to launch in 2023-24 in line with the New Education Policy (NEP).
