New Delhi: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan is scheduled to meet PM Modi an official statement from the CMO informed. This would be the first physical meet the Madhya Pradesh CM would be having with the PM of India. The meeting would commence at 4:00 pm the statement asserted.
The meeting would see a discourse of the programs to be organized in the state. “Chouhan will discuss the Program organized in Burhanpur under Jal Jeevan Mission and will give information about the efforts and special programs of the state in the direction of ‘West to Wealth’ and distribution of nutrition food plants to women self-help groups,” the statement informed.
SS Chouhan will also give a preliminary report of suggestions received from various states regarding the Ayushman Bharat scheme to the Prime Minister and will inform about the statute of ‘Oneness’ being built in MP’s Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar temple renovation project of Ujjain. Besides this, CM would also furnish details of the Chief Minister Conclave held in December 2021.
Earlier on the 1st of February, MP had welcomed the Union Budget presented by the finance minister under the leadership of Modi. He had taken to Twitter to appreciate the efforts put forth by the Modi govt. Shivraj Singh would thank the PM in person today for the approved budget for the Betwa link project. He further will give information about the Adopt and Anganwadi campaign by the Madhya Pradesh government.
Other discussions would include matters related to Agriculture, public asset management in the state. He will also lay down concerns like the improvement of deteriorating forests regarding the Forest Conservation Act.
