Bhopal- The health department in Madhya Pradesh is grappling with a dual challenge as the cases of swine flu persist, while the surge in dengue cases has become a cause for concern. Compared to the previous year, the number of dengue patients has doubled, putting a strain on the healthcare system. To combat the spread of dengue, authorities have taken measures to deploy vehicles in various parts of the city for fogging.

In the state capital, Bhopal, there has been a rapid increase in cases of eye flu, with a staggering 300 to 400 patients reported daily. Simultaneously, the city is also facing the wrath of a dengue outbreak, with approximately 120 confirmed dengue cases reported so far, indicating a two-fold rise compared to the previous year.

The rise in dengue cases has raised concerns among health authorities working tirelessly to control the outbreak. The situation has prompted implementation of preventive measures like fogging to curb the spread of mosquito-borne disease.

Given the simultaneous surge in swine flu and dengue cases, the healthcare system in Madhya Pradesh is facing increased pressure to provide timely and efficient medical assistance to the affected individuals. Health officials closely monitor the situation and urge the public to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from these infectious diseases.
