Bhopal: In a major breakthrough on Friday, the Madhya Pradesh police successfully nabbed the blind murder who had killed several security guards in Sagar district. As per reports the accused was carrying the mobile phone of a security guard he had murdered in the recent, which helped the team trace him in Khajuria.
Ironically he was nabbed moments after he had committed another murder on the intervening nights of Thursday and Friday in Bhopal. “We have picked-up the accused in the early hours from Bhopal. There is high probability that he is the main person behind these incidents. Our investigations are underway,” Sagar Inspector General of Police Anurag said in a press briefing. Police had on Thursday issued a sketch of the suspected killer, and declared a reward of Rs 30,000 – Rs 10,000 for each case to the informer.
Sources say that the arrested serial killer has confessed to six murders so far and also said that he was inspired by KGF and had plans to target policemen next. The accused as per Aadhar Card is identified as Shivprasad Dhruve, a resident under Kesli police station limits of Sagar district.
As per primary investigation Dhruve was arrested after he killed a guard of a marble stockiest in LalGhati area of Bhopal on Thursday night at 3:30am. He revealed that he was inspired by KGF 2’s Rocky Bhai and had plans to raise funds and become a gangster. However, it is yet to be determined why he targeted only sleeping security guards.
