Indore– The Vijay Nagar police station in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has made a breakthrough by capturing two individuals involved in a fake marksheet operation. The suspects, Dinesh Tirole and Manish Rathore, along with their accomplices, have been running this operation for five years. They have produced mark sheets for educational levels, including 8th grade, 10th grade, 12th grade, and BAMS certificates. Throughout their activities, they have created more than 2,500 fake mark sheets.
Based on the information, a team led by DCP Abhishek Anand took action and conducted raids at the suspect’s residences to apprehend them. During the raid, they seized 50-60 forged mark sheets that bore the names of universities and states such as Delhi, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
The accused ran a business by extorting sums of money from unsuspecting individuals and providing them with fraudulent mark sheets. Their deceitful practices made them amass millions of rupees while negatively impacting hundreds of victims.
As the investigation progresses, the police are currently interrogating the detained individuals to uncover any involvement of members within their network. These interrogations are expected to reveal names associated with the gang, resulting in significant advancements in the case. The police’s tireless dedication to dismantling this operation of producing mark sheets has provided a much-needed sense of comfort to the students and educational institutions affected in the area.
