Betul: A Trainee in the IFS, Pooja Nagle, recently seized teak wood worth rupees 12 lakhs from the Betul region of Madhya Pradesh. After this incident, she is now also called Lady Singham. This incident helped her to become the talk of the town and be promoted in her post.

She also arrested two men for the smuggling of teak wood and the reports say that the smuggling was being done by the mafias. Once the officials received information regarding this smuggling, they took no time in reaching the destination. Therefore, Pooja Nagle was also made the in-charge for this case.

The reports say that 22 teak trees were smuggled illegally from Betul to Bhilwara, which is located in Rajasthan. One of person’s who was arrested, was the truck driver and he confessed to the case. After his confession, the officials reached the Haripur village and started their raid operations.

The raids also helped the Police officials to arrest Rameshwar Sutar. They got a total of 13 cubic metres of Teak Wood which was smuggled to him illegally. Three people, Deepak, Bhajan Bishnoi, and Gokul Bishnoi, ran away after knowing the raid operations and the search for them is still going.
