INDORE: One died and three others were injured in a car accident that took place in Indore on the intervening nights of Monday and Tuesday.
The accident took place at 3 AM at midnight near the Arandiya bypass. Preliminary investigation reveals the car overturned after hitting a truck. A girl identified as Akansha Singh who was critically injured was sent to CHL hospital and succumbed to the injuries, while the others who survived are being treated said TI Santosh Dudhi.
The kin of the family alleges that the co-passengers, friends of Akansha were misleading the investigations and giving false information. It is believed that Akash was driving the car when the accident took place. However, further details about the case will be disclosed after the police record the final statement of those who survived the accident. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased will also be handed over to the family after a postmortem examination.
