BHOPAL: Compensation under the Ladli Behen Yojna will be released on 10th of every month- said Shivraj Singh Chauhan at a merting on Tuesday. The SS cabinet including representatives of the child and welfare department held a meeting where discussion on the scheme were done.
Chauhan highlighting the eligibility criteria spoke about Baiga, Sahariya and Bharia special tribes- women of whose along with divorced, widow or unmarried women in the state will be provided with the financial assitance.
The process of filling forms for the Yojana will start from March 5. The scheme will make life easier for the marginalised sections of the society, including small farmers, labourers. The beneficiaries will start getting funds from the month of June after the due process of selection for this scheme is completed.
An outlay of Rs 12,000 crore has been sanctioned for every year which will sum up to Rs 60,000 crore in five years. The farmer’s family from other schemes under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi and under Mukhya Mantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana was provided a grant of Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000 respectively. The addition of this new scheme will take the annual assistance to Rs 22,000 with Rs 1,000 every month that will aid households to arrange for nutritional food for the children.
