MORENA: Delhi to Gwalior Garib rath express was stopped at Rajasthan’s Dholpur Railway station after a bomb threat. Railway officials on receiving information from a passenger immediately halt the train and launched a search operation.
A team of GRP and RPF swung into action immediately and throughly scanned the coaches including the AC coach to detect the bomb. The complainant a passenger in the train claime there was a bomb in G2 coach of the train. The bomb squa was also called for spot investigation.
Other than the G2 Coach, G3 and G4 were also evacuated and the search operation was carried out at the three coaches.
After over three hours of conducting searches, the police confirmed that nothing was found on the train, and the train was given clearance to go ahead.
Anil Jasoria, SHO, Dhaulpur Kotwali Police Station who over saw the search operation has stated that primary investigation revealed the call was from Morena. Call records are being extracted and attempts are being made to arrest the suspect.
