Bhopal: Meteorological Department has issued warnings for heavy rains and the possibility of thunderstorms in most districts of the Gwalior-Chambal divisions. The districts of Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, and Narmadapuram divisions shall witness heavy rainfall. The state will be wet till October 12.

The meteorological department has issued two alerts. Orange alert; telling the possibility of very heavy rainfall in Gwalior, Datia, Sheopurkalam, Morena, and Bhind districts. Yellow alert; telling possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated places in Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Neemuch, Madasur, Agar, Rajgarh, Dewas, Khargone districts.

The meteorological department Bhopal shared the alerts on official twitter accounts.

According to meteorologists, it is pouring throughout the state and four weather systems made at different places are affecting the weather of the state. Besides, the moisture of Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal is continuously damping the state. A trough is extending from Andhra Coast to Uttarakhand and another line is extending up to Gujarat via Madhya Pradesh.
